Noah was formed on August 2, 2012. Composed of Ariel (vocals), David (Keyboard), Lukman (guitar), Uki (guitar) and Reza (drums), the band is the new name of Peterpan. Since its release two personnel cases long Peterpan, Andika and Indra in 2006, Ariel and his friends are no longer required to use the name Peterpan gig.
CAREER
Peterpan formed in 2000 in London. At that initial formation is Ariel (vocals), Uki (guitar), Reza (drums), Lukman (guitar), Andika (keyboard) and Indra (bass). Through a single incoming Perfect Dream compilation album NIGHT STORY 2002, the name Peterpan began widely known not only society but also Bandung Jakarta and surrounding areas.
SKY PARK single success ogled by Musica Studios by inviting Peterpan to make their debut album. In 2003, the album was released and SKY PARK successfully sold over 650,000 copies. A breakthrough made Peterpan with a marathon concert in six provinces in 24 hours on July 18, 2004. This concert started from Medan, Padang, Riau, Semarang, Semarang and Surabaya ended at 23.00.
The following year, Peter released his second album titled STAR IN HEAVEN. Repeating successful previous album, STARS IN HEAVEN successfully sold 3 million copies and made Peterpan awarded as Favorite Artist in MTV ASIA Indonesia in 2005. Seeing the high public interest in this album, Peter Frampton released the album VCD TO FRIEND Peterpan containing original karaoke VCD containing video clips and documentation pemcahan concert marathon record in 2004.
In 2006, Indra and Andika out of Peterpan for reasons different visions. When out, Indra and Andika appeal the use of the name used Ariel Peterpan and friends. In 2007 Peterpan released album SUNNY DAY. This album was their last album with the name Peterpan. In 2008 Peterpan released the best album entitled A NAME A STORY.
IN the year 2010, Peter rocked by scandal porn video Ariel. This case requires Ariel serving for 3 years and 6 months. But do not stop working Peterpan, in 2012 they released the album titled instruments OTHER VOICES. In this album they put a song created titled Dara Ariel in prison and a collaboration track titled Momo Geisha Try to Understand.
Mid-2012, Ariel gets leniency was finally released on July 23, 2012. A week later, Ariel, Uki, Lukman and David held a press conference on the new name of their band. They finally officially use the name of Noah, a name that has been prepared since 2010. Although only formed in August 2012, but Noah has been busy with plans launching their album on September 2012.
